Favourite Skincare Products For Autumn

Now that the weather is slowly but surely getting colder in the UK, I'm already starting to notice small differences in my skin like it usually does when the seasons change. Since my skin can often get dry patches on my face when the weather gets colder, I tend to focus on my skincare more than ever. I don't suffer with bad skin, it's pretty average most of the time but when the seasons change I do notice slight differences like it getting dryer when it's cold and oiler when it's hot. Since it is gradually getting cooler, I knew it was time to start gathering up my favourite skincare products and share them with you, as they have been complete game changers for me.

Drops Of Light Foam Cleanser // The Body Shop - £12

The Body Shop is my ultimate number one store to visit when I am in need of new skincare products or want to try something completely different. Their products never disappoint and I was so beyond pleased when I picked this foam cleanser up. I had heard about the Drops Of Light range and had only heard great things about it. After a long time of wanting to try a product from the range and spending some time looking at all of the gorgeous products, I picked up this little beauty. I'm not usually too fussy when it comes to facial cleansers, as I feel like a huge majority of them do the job just fine, but this one really is brilliant. It removes makeup perfectly without the hassle of trying to remove any excess mascara, and it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth afterwards. I would definitely repurchase this cleanser as it's not only a genuinely great product, but it also smells divine.

Vanilla Pumpkin Body Butter // The Body Shop - £15

You'll begin to notice how near enough every single item on this list is from The Body Shop, but I'm just obsessed.. Anyways, I was kindly gifted this body butter from team at the The Body Shop last year and I was so grateful to have received a product so stunning. Although this year the packaging is different, I believe the product itself is still exactly the same. I wasn't really sure what to expect when I opened the tub for the first time, but my goodness, it truly does smell like Autumn in a tub. With scents from vanilla, hazelnut and maple syrup, what more could you want to embrace Autumn at it's fullest?! It's so hydrating on the skin and the scent lasts near enough all day, I love it!

Foaming Facial Cleanser // Sukin - £5.30

I've mentioned this facial cleanser in previous posts and after trying my first product from Sukin, I was pleasantly surprised. I had heard great things about the brand already and was super excited to try my new products when I got home after purchasing this cleanser and their toning mist (which I seriously need to stock up on because wow) . When I first tried this cleanser, I was honestly expecting a lot more of a scent, but there was literally none, which I guess is great for those of you who can't use scented products because of really sensitive skin. This wasn't a big deal for me at all, as I still absolutely love the product. Since it's made up of really natural ingredients, it makes my skin feel really refreshed and knowing that it doesn't have any artificial ingredients made me love it even more. I tend to rotate between using this cleanser and the cleanser mentioned above from The Body Shop, although I do use this one more on days where I'm not wearing makeup as it feels refreshing and I feel like it doesn't take off mascara all that well, but it's still so good.

Vanilla Chai Hand Cream // The Body Shop - £2.50

I remember picking this hand cream up around Christmas time last year and fell in love with it so much that I stocked up on about 4 extras as I used it so frequently. The vanilla chai scent is one of my absolute favourite scents in the entire world and it grew on me even more over time which I didn't think was even possible. I picked this up on a whim as I was paying for other products and noticed this by the till, and I am so glad I picked it up when I did as I don't think I would have really bothered purchasing it any other time as I had no idea what the scent was even like. I just went online and I noticed that it's not on there, but I'm really hoping that it goes back in stock by next month as it is incredible. I suffer with dry hands quite badly in the colder months so am constantly relying on hand cream so they don't feel sore or irritable and this hand cream never fails to make my hands feel really soft and smooth whilst also making you smell like a dream.

Natural Paw Paw Ointment // Sukin - $8.95

Sukin kindly gifted me this product a little while ago and it has improved my lips so much. Although this product can be used for lips and skin, I tend to only use it on my lips as it is quite a sticky product to be applying on your face. I use this every single night and it always leaves my lips feeling hydrated and plump in the mornings. I always get chapped lips when the seasons change, but they can get really bad in the colder months if I'm not constantly applying different lip balms. However, just by applying this product to my lips every night rather than a different lip balm non stop throughout the day has helped me massively. If you suffer with dry lips I honestly couldn't recommend this enough.

Frosted Berries Body Butter // The Body Shop - £6 +

I have tried SO many different body butters from The Body Shop over the years, but this one is certainly a favourite of mine. My friend actually bought me this body butter as part of Christmas gift last year, but before receiving it I could have sworn that I had never even seen the product in store. I use a lot of shea and vanilla scented products, but I loved being able to switch things up a bit by using a completely different scent to what I'm used to. This body butter has such a refreshing berry scent without being sickly in the slightest. I get through so many body butters so quickly, so I'm definitely going to be stocking up on lots of different scents this year, as well as this one of course!

I was so happy to see this festive gift with The Body Shops new range of vanilla marshmallow products! I need to go into my nearest store and check this out asap as I can imagine it smells unreal.
