Protein Banana Bread Mug Cake | Vegan



Mug cake or baked oats, honestly it’s like the same thing. You could enjoy this for breakfast or dessert, it’s so delicious either way!

You will need:

- 1/2 medium banana, mashed
- 50g oat flour (blended oats)
- 20g Unicorn Superfoods caramel slice protein powder
- 2 tsp sweetener
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100ml unsweetened oat milk
- Handful dark chocolate chips
- Extra choc chips and banana slices for topping


1. Preheat oven to 200C.
2. In a medium-sized bowl, add the oat flour, protein powder and baking powder.
3. Use a fork to mash the banana in a separate bowl, mash until smooth.
4. Add the mashed banana to the dry ingredients along with the oat milk and vanilla extract. Mix everything together until smooth.
5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
6. Transfer the mixture into a small ovenproof dish.
7. Sprinkle some extra chocolate chips on top as well as a couple of extra banana slices.
8. Place the dish in the oven and allow it to cook for 25 minutes.
