6 Ingredient Protein Bars | Vegan


These 6 ingredient protein bars are so easy to make and are the perfect no-bake snack! I love prepping a batch of these for the week, they're honestly so delicious.


You will need:

* 3/4 cup oats
* 1/4 cup caramel-flavoured protein powder
* 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
* 1/4 cup maple syrup 
* 1/3 cup oat milk (or other plant milk)
* 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips, plus more for topping


1. Add the oats to the mini prep pro and press the chop setting to turn the oats into a flour (I also tested the grind setting for this and it worked well too!).
2. Once the oat flour has formed, add the protein powder, smooth peanut butter and maple syrup and mix again (using the chop setting).
3. The texture will likely be dry at this point depending on how runny your peanut butter is, so pour in the oat milk and mix again. You can add more if the texture is still too dry, but it needs to be mouldable and not sticky.
4. Fold the chocolate chips into the mixture.
5. Line a loaf tin with parchment paper and pour the mixture in. 
6. Squish the mixture down so that it sticks together and creates a smooth even layer.
7. Sprinkle some extra chocolate chips on top and squish them down a little bit.
8. Place the loaf tin in the freezer for 30 minutes before cutting it into 7 bars.

Store in a container in the fridge!
