Double Chocolate Chickpea Bars | Vegan


These healthy, easy, double-chocolate chickpea bars are the perfect indulgent snack. These bars are fudgy, gooey and delicious.

You will need:

- 1 tin of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1/4 cup agave syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup Unicorn Superfoods chocolate fudge protein powder
- 1 bar of dark chocolate or vegan milk chocolate


1. Line a loaf tin with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 180C.
2. Simply add all of the ingredients to a food processor (not including the chocolate) and mix until smooth.
3. Once smooth, chop up the chocolate bar and fold 3/4 of it into the mixture.
4. Scoop the mixture into the loaf tin (it will be sticky, but use a spatula to help spread it out) and bake for 25 minutes.
5. Remove from the oven and while it’s still hot, add the remaining chocolate on top so that it melts.
6. Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing and enjoying.
